How do I create an account?
- Click ‘Login’ in the top right hand corner of the navigation bar.
- Click the ‘New to Pasture Valley Marketplace? Sign up’ button.
- Enter a username, your email address, and password (twice for verification).
- Check your email inbox for the email account you provided for the message with the subject ‘Activate your Pasture Valley Marketplace Account’ and click the link provided in the email to activate your account.
- You will be taken to the home page and should see the message ‘Account verified! Please login to buy products’.
- Click login in the top right hand corner of the navigation bar; then enter your username and password; then click the ‘Login’ button. You can now purchase products from the website.
I've forgotten my password. How do I reset my password?
- Click ‘Login’ in the top right hand corner of the navigation bar.
- Click the ‘Forgot Password?’ button.
- Enter the email address for your account into the ‘Email’ field and click ‘Send Email’.
- Check your inbox for the email associated with your account and open the message with the subject ‘Password Reset Requested’.
- Click the link provided in the email to reset your password (note that this link can only be used once).
- You will be taken to the ‘Password Reset Confirm’ page. Enter your new password twice in the fields provided and click the ‘Reset Password’ button.
- Click the ‘Log in’ button and enter your new password to sign in.
How do I change my password if I'm already logged in?
- Click the icon in the top right hand corner and click ‘change password’ from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your current password in the ‘Old password’ field.
- Enter your new password in the ‘New password’ and ‘New password confirmation’ fields and click the ‘Save changes’ button.
How do I buy products?
Products can be browsed from the ‘Products’ page (found in the navigation bar) or by clicking on individual product-types under the ‘Browse Product Categories’ heading on the homepage. To buy a product:
- Click on the title or image of the product on the ‘Products’ page (or the page for the particular product type i.e. ‘Beef Products’).
- Click the ‘Add to cart’ button (note you need to have created an account and be logged-in to add a product to your cart).
- You will now be taken to your shopping cart where you’ll see your order summary (you can see the contents of your cart at any time while logged in by clicking ‘Shopping Cart’ in the navigation bar).
- From here you can increase or decrease the quantity of the product in your cart by clicking the plus or minus symbols below the ‘Quantity’ heading. You can remove the product from your cart by clicking the red trash can icon. Click ‘Continue shopping’ if you want to browse more products.
- Click the ‘Checkout’ button once you have found the product(s) you are interested in buying.
- Enter your name and billing address in the checkout form provided (you can click the ‘save this information for next time’ checkbox to save this info when making future purchases. This info will be saved as soon as this checkbox is checked).
- Select either Credit Card or PayPal for the payment type and click ‘Continue to Checkout’ to pay for your order.
- If you select Credit Card, enter your card number, the expiry date, the security code and your postal code then click ‘Submit Payment’.
- If you select PayPal, click the Buy Now button and you will be taken to the PayPal website where you can enter your PayPal username and password to complete your purchase.
- After your payment has been processed successfully, you will be redirected to the ‘Pickup Location’ page, which indicates when and where to pick up your order. You will also receive a receipt via email to the email address associated with your account.
